From a promotional clothing perspective one would not image there being a massive market for Children’s promotional hats & caps but you would be surprised how many are manufactured every year for the promotional merchandise market amongst others. Schools are also big users of this type of promotional headwear and thankfully the Nanny State has provided another income stream for hat promotional baseball cap manufacturers.

If we start by looking at the schools market this is a place where the schools themselves have to take responsibility for yet another thing that parents used to have to look after i.e. sunburn. It would appear that as of now if a school were to allow one of the little dears out to play on a sunny day and they were to get burned by the sun then the school could be held responsible. For that reason there has been a healthy uplift in the number of printed cotton baseball caps and especially those with the extra fabric down the back similar to the French Foreign Legion. This extra strip will I hope save the government tens of thousand of pounds in compensation to those parents who seem to think it’s fine to smoke in their cars with the children on board or who plonk them on the doorstep of the pub while they spend all night inside drinking.

The other big market in children’s promotional headwear is the entertainment industry. Soccer clubs alone produce millions of printed baseball caps for kids and charge them ridiculous sums of money for them. They are available in every colour imaginable and clubs like Man Utd and Arsenal produce great looking promotional caps it has to be said. Other sports that use these great promotional textiles across the ages is golf. Any self respecting young golfer will have  at least half a dozen embroidered baseball caps ready to take onto the fairways. Other types of children’s promotional hats would be those worn by much younger kids and even babies. They are mainly made form 100% cotton and are every soft to wear.
