Promotional Golf Clothing  - The Perfect Promotional Clothing

Golf has long been associated with bright and colourful printed and embroidered polo shirts, in fact if you are not a golfer yourself you’ve probably grinned once or twice when you’ve seen what some golfers wear. That said promotional golf clothing is just as much a uniform as any soccer strip or baseball team’s outfit.

If you want to look at some extreme designs then you only have to go back to the early 1980’s when the top golfers such as jack Nicklaus or Lee Trevino dominated the game. Some of the trousers and jumpers they used to wear would be enough to scare any wildlife off the golf course. They wore the most outrageous colours and checks that would never have been seen in Carnaby Street at the height of the hippy fashions. This did not change much in the early 90’s when Nick Faldo wore a range of amazing pullovers form Pringle. These amazing promotional golf jackets and pullovers had some terrific designs and if they were designed not to be forgotten then they were a great success.

These days things have got a lot more subtle and subdued.  Manufacturers such as Nike, Pringle, Addidas and Ashworth to name but a few have found new fabrics and methods of printing that have transformed the promotional golf wear industry. Once upon a time there was basically just promotional cotton polo shirts or a poly/cotton mix with nothing in between but all that has changed. New fabrics such as Cooltex, Spandex and microfibres have transformed the market. Printing techniques that enable designers to print in full glorious Technicolor right across the front, back, sleeves & sides of these promotional polos has meant that anything goes.

Golfers such as Tiger Woods and in particular Ian Poulter have shown the older generation how to dress on the golf course. Tiger has a tradition of wearing a red printed polo shirt on the last day of every tournament but you can be sure that each one is may be red but will always be a different shade or design. Ian Poulter on the other hand is far more exciting and dramatic in his sartorial elegance. Whilst he’ll never really appeal to the 50+ slightly chubby group of golfers her is very popular with the younger generation who love his somewhat outlandish designs.

So whatever promotional golf wear you are looking for give us a call at BTC group and we’ll be more than happy to quote for any form of promotional clothing including embroidered polo shirts and printed jackets.
