Promotional Piggy Banks And printed Money Boxes- Perfect Gifts For Any Financial Promotional Activity.
Promotional piggy banks and promotional money boxes have been used as giveaways for a number of years. They are perfect promotional items for events such as exhibitions, conferences, seminars and any where else that financial matters are being discussed. Even if the event is entirely targeted at adults it is funny how many of them keep these great business gifts for themselves rather than take them home and given to the children.
One of the most famous and successful of all promotional merchandise campaigns was run by the National Westminster bank in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The bank gave away proper china piggy banks which were part of a set. These great looking promotional items soon became collectors sets with people going to great lengths to ensure that they had the full set. They can even be seen today on eBay, many years later selling for a not inconsiderable sum. Whilst China piggy banks are very attractive they are of course very expensive and packing and shipping often results in them being broken and therefore a lot of additional costs need to be added to any promotion if you decide to go down that route.
Much more common is the use of plastic in the manufacturing of promotional piggybanks. The reason being that it is much less expensive than China, much quicker to produce, and much easier to brand especially if you are buying smaller quantities for example less than 100 pieces. Most UK manufacturers hold a range of three or four different sizes of promotional money boxes or printed piggybanks, and they tend to offer them in a range of standard colours such as clear, red, blue, green, and yellow. If you are prepared to commit to a run of at least 1000 pieces it is usually very simple to have the colour of them matched to your company colours.
There are also one or two metal money boxes available in the promotional markets. One in particular that is very popular is the chrome plated piggybank that a number of our clients have used for more upmarket promotions and especially as table gifts at promotional dinners or lunches. They are of course much more expensive however, if the budget allows its they will be well appreciated by the recipients.
