Promotional V-Neck T-Shirts & Promotional Vests

When you consider how the common or garden vest has come and gone in terms of fashion over the past 50 years or so it’s not surprising that these days millions of printed V-neck T-shirts and promotional vests are sold.

Back in the mid 20^th century everybody wore vests simply because there was no such thing as central heating, normal clothes were not designed with thermal qualities in mind and they were seen as what “had to be worn in decent society” items. You only have to watch any television programme or film of that era to see countless examples of workers wearing Long Johns or button up vests. They became extremely popular as items of fashion wear in the 60’s and 70’s and as usual the promotional clothing market has not been slow to jump onto the bandwagon.

These days printed V-Neck T-shirts are extremely popular as an alternative to the much more common round or crew neck printed T-shirts. The ratio is p[probably around 1500 to one however when you consider how many millions upon millions of promotional T-shirts are sold every year that still equates to a large number.

Promotional vests and promotional V-Neck T-shirts are more expensive that the regular shirts simply because they are made in smaller quantities and are technically a little more difficult to produce. Manufacturers such as Hanes, Fruit of the Loom and Starworld make a great range of colours and many of these also offer contrast coloured T-shirts as well.
